Mate with cachaça, discover the caipirinha Nativa, by Jeferson Reimann

  • Published 5 years ago

Add two ingredients, mate and tangerine, and get a new and delicious version of the traditional cachaça caipirinha. We recommend it for the summer!

the gaucho Jeferson Reimann guaranteed his place in the final Art of Cachaça championship with an unusual cocktail, the Native Caipirinha. Proud of his origins, he added a combination bringing a typical ingredient from Rio Grande do Sul to give more complexity to the drink, yerba mate with cachaça.

In addition to the traditional caipirinha ingredients, lemon, ice and sugar, Jeferson added tangerine leaves (or bergamot, as it is called in his region) and yerba mate syrup, giving it a tasty and refreshing bitterness. Simple to make at home, the drink has everything to enhance summer caipirinhas all over Brazil.
